Nostalgia Products Taco Tuesday Electric Lime Juicer and Margarita Kit
1 cup granulated sugar (for simple syrup)
1 cup water (for simple syrup)
1 cup fresh lime juice, about 6-7 limes
3-4 cups water
Cubed ice
Mint leaves for garnish and a little extra taste!
Place granulated sugar and 1 CUP water in a medium saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring regularly to avoid sugar sticking to the pan.
When all of the sugar has been absorbed, pour syrup mixture into a mug or thick glass and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to cool and thicken.
Plug in Taco Tuesday Electric Lime Juicer and Margarita Kit and slide the switch on the Pulp Control Filter to 1 to avoid excess pulp.
Slice all limes into halves and begin the juicing process with each half.
Once you have juiced all of your limes, remove all filters from the top of the pitcher.
Take the simple syrup out of the refrigerator and pour it into the pitcher, mixing with a wooden spoon.
Add 3-4 cups of water; 3 cups if you prefer a more sour drink. Continue to mix with a wooden spoon.
Pour limeade over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Sip on your porch while listening to birds chirp...or with friends at a barbecue. The choice is yours!
½ cup tequila of choice OR ½ cup vodka of choice
Add ½ cup tequila to the limeade pitcher and stir with a wooden spoon. I like Casamigos Blanco.
Because this is such a refreshing drink, you can sub tequila for vodka (Grey Goose was used in this recipe)
