Mint Chocolate Popcorn

Make a magical chocolate-mint popcorn treat using Air-Popped Popcorn and a few simple ingredients! This fluffy treat is a joy to create and even better to snack on with friends and family whenever you’re craving something sweet.

Ingredients

5 tbsp Popcorn Kernels
1 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Butter
3 cups Mini Marshmallows
1 tsp Peppermint Extract
½ cup Mini Chocolate Chips
1 cup Dark Chocolate Chunks
2 Drops Yellow Food Coloring
1 Drop Blue Food Coloring
Optional: Edible Gold Sprinkles

Directions

Using your APH200RED Air-Pop Popcorn Maker or other Nostalgia Popcorn Maker, Pop 5 tbsp of Popcorn Kernels to make about 10 cups of Popped Popcorn. Add your Kernels intermittently to avoid overflowing your popcorn machine.
Salt Popcorn and Place in a large bowl.
Melt Butter in a saucepan over low to medium heat. Once Butter is melted, add 3 cups of marshmallows. Stir until marshmallows are melted. Turn off the heat as the soon as marshmallows
Stir in 1 tsp Peppermint Extract, 2 Drops of Yellow Food Coloring, and 1 Drop of Blue Food Coloring.
Pour marshmallow mixture over the popcorn and fold in the bowl.
Pour onto a baking sheet.
Drizzle any remaining marshmallow mixture.
Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and chocolate chunks over the mixture (add gold sprinkles if desired).
Allow the Popcorn to cool.
